Tiffin Columbian High School science teacher Chris Monsour, the 2026 Ohio Teacher of the Year, has received a Fulbright Teacher Exchange award for the 2026-2027 cycle from the U.S. Department of State.

The Tiffin City Schools Board of Education expressed support for moving forward with Columbian High School auditorium improvements, heard updates on academic progress and technology services and approved student-support agreements during its Sept. 28 meeting.

Tiffin Middle School has received a $2,050 grant from the Tiffin Community Foundation’s Youth Advisory Council to restock its student Hygiene Closet, which privately provides personal-care items and emergency clothing to students in grades 6-8.
