The Tiffin City School District is committed to moving students into the future equipped with the skills they need to succeed after they graduate. The Transportation Department provides the physical means to get there.

Safe, Efficient, Convenient Busing

It is important that students have a safe, reliable way to get to and from school.

Transportation is provided for:

  • Resident grades K-5 elementary students who live more than half a mile from school
  • Resident grades 6-12 students who live more than two miles from school
  • Any individuals with physical or mental disabilities that make walking impossible or unsafe.

Transportation Request(s)/Changes

Parent(s)/Guardian(s) requesting new service or changes to bus transportation are required to complete the Transportation Form by accessing the respective links below.

Please note the following rules prior to submitting transportation requests:

  • A student must qualify for transportation per the district policy.
  • New requests and/or changes may not be processed 10 days prior to the first day of school or until 10 days after the first day of school.
  • A student may have only one pickup location per week.
  • A student may have only one drop off location per week.
  • A student's pickup and drop off location can be different.
  • Shared parenting schedules may be accommodated on a weekly schedule, however, the schedule must be submitted in writing.
  • Bus passes or notes from parents/guardians will not be accepted. All student riders must qualify for busing and be scheduled through the transportation office.
  • Short term, temporary, one-day riders will not be permitted.

Tiffin City Schools will shuttle students from Tiffin Columbian High School to and from joint vocational schools Sentinel Career Center and Vanguard. To register for the shuttle, please click the button below.

2023 - 2024 Transportation Registration

TCS back-to-school forms for the 2023-24 school year
are now available in FinalForms. Those families that
rely on bus transit are required to have forms updated
and signed by May 15th.

Before requesting TCS Transportation services, please
be sure to verify your student’s eligibility for said
services.
