As elected members of the Tiffin community, the Tiffin City Schools Board of Education cares deeply about representing the needs of our diverse community in order to provide a quality education for all students.
The Board is responsible for setting policy across the district. As your elected representatives, we are here to ensure that everything we do strives to provide ample opportunities for every student to reach their fullest potential.
To accomplish this we:
Since the Board believes strongly in community involvement, all standing committees include the Board, staff, and community representation. The Board meets a minimum of once a month, generally on the fourth Monday at 6:30 PM in the Tiffin Middle School Cafetorium. The various standing committees also meet monthly.

Next Regular Meeting
The July Regular Board Meeting has been cancelled.
The next Regular Board Meeting will be Monday, August 26, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Tiffin Middle School cafetorium, 103 Shepherd Dr., Tiffin, OH 44883.
Each month, a Board Work Session/Special Meeting will be held at 5:45 PM, just prior to the Regular Meeting in the same location.
There will be a Special Meeting Monday, July 29, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Tiffin City Schools Administration Building,
244 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, OH 44883. The purpose of the meeting is to contract with an interim treasurer and to hold a board discussion regarding a treasurer search. There will be an executive session to consider the employment and/or compensation of a public employee.
There will be a Special Meeting Monday, August 5, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Tiffin Middle School Cafetorium,
103 Shepherd Drive Tiffin, OH 44883. The purpose of the meeting is to finalize employment items, approve a rental agreement, and to hold a public on the issue of re-employing Douglas Hartenstein, who was previously employed by the Board of Education as a high school math teacher and retired/is retiring through STRS, is seeking re-employment with the Tiffin City School District in the same position following their service retirement.

6:30 PM, unless otherwise noted.
